About me

Hello! I am a PhD Researcher obtaining a dual-degree in Physics, Statistics & Data Science at the Laboratory for Nuclear Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) working at the intersection of Physics and Machine Learning. Currently located in Geneva, Switzerland @ CERN! In a past life, I was a Caltech undergraduate in Physics and grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Member of both CMS and LIGO Collaborations!

My projects include:

  • Novel machine learning architectures for jet tagging, mass decorrelation @ CMS, LHC
  • Anomaly detection to detect core-collapse supernovae, fast radio bursts, magnetars, etc. @ LIGOLIGO-F0900035-v2: LIGO Logo
  • Search for Light Scalars and Pseudoscalars decaying to tau lepton pairs @ CMS, LHC
  • Developing precision measurement experiment to detect new physics @ DarkQuest Fermilab | Graphics Standards at Fermilab | Logo and usage
  • Compressing data using autoencoder latent spaces to read data off HGCAL at 40 MHz @ CMS, LHC
  • Transformers for detecting binary black hole mergers @ LIGOLIGO-F0900035-v2: LIGO Logo
  • Self-play algorithms to understand the Royal Game of Ur @ Société Internationale d'UR
